If that child was overweight the numbers were an even scarier 17.8%. Does anyone really grasp the concept of what this will do to our healthcare system? If we do not get a handle on the demon we know as insulin resistance and do it quick, there will be no healthcare system that can support the financial weight of dealing with all these chronic diseases.
