Maternal Lead, Infant Weight, Weight Gain at One Month
Heavy metals, despite their lack of importance in mainstream medicine, continue to play a major role in human health and disease. Hair and urine analysis are an excellent method to determine overall lead burden and we should begin to strongly consider them with all women considering pregnancy so that excess heavy metals can be chelated out of the body prior to becoming pregnant.
