We really need to get on the ball with education both women of childbearing age as well as pregnant women how much what they do during and BEFORE pregnancy affects the health of their child in infancy and well into their adult life.
While I wouldn’t dare say this to a pregnant woman’s face, once they are pregnant (or even thinking about becoming pregnant) it is no longer about YOU. It is about that little developing organism within you and knowing that everything you do to yourself will have an impact on the rest of their lives. That a VERY heavy responsibility.
